Mission Statement
The Suppliers Council, a group of reliable, trustworthy and financially sound suppliers, exists to provide support to the AAGW in return for opportunities to build relationships with apartment communities. This group meets monthly to discuss ways to support the apartment industry and plan events that they sponsor.
Benefits of Membership
As a member of the AAGW Suppliers Council you can take part in monthly
events where you can network with owners, apartment managers and association members. Beneficial
seminars are offered to help the supplier better understand the needs of the industry. An annual trade show is held where members can advertise, display and demonstrate their services. An on-line
membership directory, listing owners of apartments, apartment communities and supplier members. As a member you have access to this electronic information.
 Earn Recognition as an Industry Professional
The AAGW, in conjunction with the National Apartment Association, offers the Certified Apartment Supplier (CAS) supplier designation.Increase your effectiveness by udnerstanding the goals of the multi-family professionals you serve. Because the CAS curriculum is drawn directly from the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) curriculum, you will share the learning process with area on-site professionals, many of whom you already have an established relationship. In class, you will gain a new understanding of the challenges facing your customer, the apartment manager. At the same time, you will have a new opportunity to share your experiences as a multi-family industry supplier who meets with hundreds of apartment managers.
